This would be my first gaming PC… I would like to run “Crysis” and other advanced first-person shooters on this PC. From what I hear, “Crysis” can be very demanding on a PC. I just want to make sure that this system’s mobo, Dual CPU, 2gb DDR2 RAM, and dual Nvidia 9400gt’s can run this game flawlessly. I could also upgrade to dual Nvidia GeForce 9500GT 1gb ram graphics cards for $54 more. What should I do??…Should I bite, or is there a better deal out there???
Thanks in advance for any good input!

“syncing” vs “backing up” on an external hard drive?
here’s what i wnat to be able to do… transfer certain folders to the external so that i can delete them off my laptop. then have scheduled times where it will update/transfer over new files that are added to those folders. [granted i haven't deleted them yet, obviously.]
i think this is the backup option, but i’m not sure. any help would be greatly appreciated. :]

Why does my computer restart when loading Ubuntu Linux live CD?
AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4 GHz
160 GB Seagate HD (Partitioned into 2 80GB segments. I was planning on installing Linux on one of the partitions)
2 GB RAM
64 Mb S3 virge video card
48x CD-ROM
The video card and CD-ROM are old, and I used them for right now because they were just laying around anyway. I’m going to upgrade both of them as soon as I have enough money, but everything else is new, and i haven’t noticed any other problems with any of the components.

How can you make my Hard drive recognized by Windows XP?
Problem: I have two hard drives. I want my system to be able to recognized the other Harddrive which has the bulk of my files. It recognizes it in BIOS but it is not seen in Windows Explorer. The Computer Management also sees my other harddrive, but with no drive letter and with a right click, the options I have are Delete Partition & Help. The size is what is should be because it has that much files, its NTFS, Healthy (Active), etc.
I have messed around with the Harddrive jumpers to cable select & slave and also changed the BIOS to Auto, Manual, etc.
I really can’t afford to lose the files in my secondary Harddrive. HELP PLEASE!!!

How much should i sell this computer for?
It’s an old packard bell iconnect 1350, it has 504mb RAM, 20gb hard drive, quite a nice monitor to say its a crt, with attatched speakers (detatchable), black compaq keyboard and a black microsoft wheel optical mouse, it has an ethernet adapter, 4 usb ports, i might get a pci wireless adapter and i think im going to throw in a lexmark z23 series usb printer, possibly a canon scanner aswel. I will preinstall software such as microsoft office 2007, corel paint shop pro photo x2, jasc animation shop 3, and some other essential software.
it is running windows vista (with all the unrequired items taken out to make it run fast on the small ram it has), but i would be willing to install windows xp instead, or maybe ubuntu.
any ideas on a price to sell this for?
I have removed lots of junk from the vista operating system, and it runs quite fast.

Backup my harddrive using an external harddrive?
1.Would I have to install a sepreate operation system (Xp) on the external harddrive.
2 And What types of cords will I need?
3.Oh and are external harddrives even compatible with notebooks?
4.If so can i treat the external drive like a usb flahsdrive meaning is it Plug and Play and can I use it on any computer that will allow it to self install.
Also, any recommedations on what type to purchase and any links that will provide info on external hardrives?
